AI Development Course
Last week I took another free course called Curso de Desarrollo con IA Gratis — El Nuevo Programador. In English, it would be something like Free AI Development Course — The New Programmer. Let me tell you how it went.
The course was organized by BIG School and MoureDev. It lasted only 3 days (about 4 hours in total), September 29th, 30th, and October 1st, 2026.
It was completely free and you can still watch the videos online:
During this course, we learned some vocabulary, focused on the coding agent OpenCode, learned how to create and use commands and agent skills, discussed Spec-Driven Development, and used agents and subagents.
The course was fine as an introduction, but I felt it lacked practical exercises.
Also, I think the certificate should have a validation code that anyone could check online. But this was a free course and there was no actual work on our part. We were just spectators.
I think that now each of us has the knowledge to ask an LLM for a more complete course about these same topics and some exercises to practice.
In the end, the purpose of this course was to serve as an introduction to an online master’s degree in AI development.
I think this master’s program was promising, but in the end, I decided not to take it.
Instead, I will keep doing things on my own for now.
Maybe in the future, I will give it a chance.
