New About Me section
I consider the About Me section complete.
I have created a section where people can learn about my interests and also have an idea about my background.
Most of this section can be used as my CV and a potential recruiter will be able to see what I’m capable of. My intention was also to provide a permalink to my updated Curriculum Vitae.
I also used ASCII icons to enhance list readability.
The Certificates subsection holds all online courses I have taken (and other diplomas) that don’t fall under traditional education. I personally think these certificates are more important than traditional education, just as recruiters tend to value previous work experience more.
I also wanted to add a subsection (called Others) where I could include my GitHub and other coding websites. This is like the Certificates but it’s continuously growing and is also more engaging and dynamic. If a recruiter is familiar with any of these sites I’m sure they’ll find them even more useful in getting to know me better.
