favicon.ico

I just designed a new favicon.ico for the website.

Honestly? It’s not great, maybe even a bit ugly. But here’s how it happened: I took an old favicon I had, fired up KolourPaint (a simple tool like the classic MS Paint), and tweaked it into a 32x32 bitmap using the site’s color palette:

  • #BBD49C (light green)
  • #253924 (dark green)
  • #6C7484 (bluish grey)

The blob in the center is supposed to be an “M”… but let’s say it’s abstract art for now.

I’ll keep it for a while. Either I’ll grow to like it, or the hatred will fuel a redesign. Time will tell.

For posterity, here’s an enlarged 256x256 version:
